After a scorching summer, Autumn started with a bang at Design Hub Clerkenwell on Gee Street in London…literally! It was like any other Monday morning for our manageress Hayley as she took her morning commute across our fine capital city. But, as she arrived at DHC, the showroom floor was underwater….yes folks, a water main had burst and caused havoc.
Clerkenwell Design Week is over for another year, but what a week it was for Arrow Group and its brands Formetiq and Metalicon.
Our London based showroom, Design Hub Clerkenwell welcomed close to 500 friends, family and clients. Packed full of product launches, demonstrations, competitions and refreshments there was plenty to see and do during the course of the week.
Formetiq launched the beautifully elegant Versa Wood desk range. Onlookers commented on its style, function and form and we’re left amazed by the trade prices and margin potential at a retail level. Our rapidly expanding furniture brand also launched the Vienna task chair. Like the Versa Wood desk that came before it, the Vienna oozes sophistication, quality and unbeatable value.
Clerkenwell Design Week time again and Arrow Group warmly welcome you to see our latest products launch at the best venue at the show – Design Hub Clerkenwell @ 47 Gee Street.
What’s happening? What’s not! A host of new product launches, a powerful daily Seminar on building information modelling (BIM) from the renowned Diane Butterworth, a fun competition with prizes available for all and our legendary free food and drink as usual!
A great vision propelled the Design Hub Clerkenwell into existence; that of a true hub where just about any element of commercial interior products could be viewed and tried out.
Visits by the many fit-out companies out there, hotel owners, office managers, restaurant managers almost always yield questions – so how does this place work? There’s furniture, monitor arms, stunning ‘railway sleeper’ walls and some very advanced Swiss coffee equipment? What’s the score on all this?
Sharing space between expert suppliers in each field has proved simply brilliant – visitors about coffee machines to rent enquire about the cool ‘London Brick’ walls or a reception desk or the brilliant range of commercial flooring on display!
The relaxed and pleasant surroundings here with everything laid on, (even a fairly quiet street!) means that time spent with our friendly in-house experts is generally very productive – minds are opened here and pleasant surprises about pricing, lead times and flexibility are to be had as well as seriously good coffee!
Before long – around a month in fact – the DHC will be again on the Clerkenwell Design Week showroom trail so, if you have not been before then don’t even hesitate – head for 47 Gee Street soon – a flat white or double espresso awaits…
Call on 0203 096 7233 and we hope to see you soon.
