Clerkenwell Design Week is over for another year, but what a week it was for Arrow Group and its brands Formetiq and Metalicon.
Our London based showroom, Design Hub Clerkenwell welcomed close to 500 friends, family and clients. Packed full of product launches, demonstrations, competitions and refreshments there was plenty to see and do during the course of the week.
Formetiq launched the beautifully elegant Versa Wood desk range. Onlookers commented on its style, function and form and we’re left amazed by the trade prices and margin potential at a retail level. Our rapidly expanding furniture brand also launched the Vienna task chair. Like the Versa Wood desk that came before it, the Vienna oozes sophistication, quality and unbeatable value.
Not to be outdone, Metalicon introduced the i-stand to the CDW masses. The innovative and beautifully engineered i-stand won over the crowds with its flexible approach to office ergonomics. However, it was the new Libero 2 monitor arm that truly stole the show. Quoting a box-to-assembly time of under a minute, we were keen to put it to the test. Fiona, Arrow Group’s Executive Assistant set the bar at a very respectable 54 seconds…little did we know this would be surpassed within hours on the first day. The eventual winner, Jason Stephen of Springfield Office clocked a hugely impressive time of 26 seconds to win a £150 Love2Shop voucher.
Whilst the Libero Assembly challenge was a well-judged marketing tactic designed to pull in the crowds, it did serve to underline the Libero’s credentials as the fastest and easiest monitor arm to assemble in the UK.
As is tradition, the Design Hub Clerkenwell bar was well stocked with a fine selection of cold beverages accompanied by the unmistakable aroma of freshly roasted coffee wafting through the air. The fish ‘n’ chip van and Krispy Kreme’s ensured that everyone was suitably full.
